The Hungarian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (HVCA) is the professional representative body of Hungary’s venture capital and private equity industry. It has served as the sector’s leading professional platform since 1991.
The Association brings together almost 70 members, including leading investment fund managers, legal, financial and advisory service providers, as well as other key stakeholders of the innovation and investment ecosystem.
HVCA members manage significant amounts of capital and play an important role in financing the growth of Hungarian businesses. Over the past years, Hungarian venture capital and private equity funds have invested hundreds of millions of euros in innovative startups and growth-stage companies, supporting technological advancement, international expansion, and the creation of high-value-added jobs.

At the international level, we maintain close partnerships with leading private equity and venture capital associations worldwide. We are a member of Invest Europe, the most important European-level advocacy organization for the private equity sector.
