Introduction to HVCA Next Generation

Who We Are

HVCA Next Generation (“NextGen”) is HVCA’s newest organizational unit, comprising young professionals delegated by the members of the Association.

Objectives and Activities

The objective of NextGen is to connect young individuals working in the fields of private equity and venture capital in Hungary and further their professional development. In order to achieve our goals, we organize professional events with the most renowned leaders and experts in the industry, together with networking events aimed at building professional PE and VC communities within Hungary. We also cooperate with HVCA’s Educational Committee and Communications Subcommittee and have direct representation on HVCA’s Board.

We typically meet on a monthly basis on the occasion of professional or social events. Going forward, we would like to expand our activities to include the organization of our own professional workshops and initiate regional collaboration within Central and Eastern Europe. We also plan to build partnerships with leaders and young professionals of private equity and venture capital firms across Europe.

History of VC és PE (Panel Discussion)

On this occasion, we invited Gábor Baranyai as our guest to share with us his experiences at various Hungarian fund managers starting from 1992.
